A little and unpretentious gem, 2 steps from the Eglise Saint-Pierre. Well thought food and beverage menus. Some might think that the menu is limited but at least it ensures quality, freshness and sustainable planning (no waste). The menu is quite creative but reflects a perfect understanding of the ingredients Madame, assisted by a lovely waiter welcomes guests, while Monsieur is in the kitchen. Furthermore, everybody is extremely flexible hen facing challenging customers such as I i.e. no garlic, no onions, no cream!! They however, managed extremely well and even offered me the dessert because I had my dish (the dorade, 'just ' steamed). I do highly recommend this place. Make sure to have...

This tiny restaurant serves only 1 seating in the evening, therefore booking is highly recommended. It's a husband and wife team. You choose your seating time. There is a choice of 2 menus (starter, main, desserts) for either EUR25.00 or EUR 35.00. Appetisers and petit fours are complimentary. The food is delicious and the service attentive. They were welcoming of our toddler and didn't charge us for his food. The chef takes great care to select local producers, thereby offering a real taste of Normandy. The decor is simple and understated. Would go again.

Excellent! You wouldn’t think foie gras with rhubarb could be so good but it was not tart, not noticeably sweetened and yet still firm without being crunchy. That’s what makes cooking an art. The black pudding was delicious too! Then there were the mains guinea fowl that was wonderfully moist, fish just cooked I can’t do that! so it had all the flavour but wasn’t dry etc. Small restaurant and it is a family affair it shows that they care. Value for money? Yes!!! You’d pay a lot more in the uk for food cooked with a lot less care.

Cross between fine dining and traditional french food. Not as pricey as Trip Advisor says. About 20€ for set lunch of 3 courses. Started with mackerel with pickled slices of different vegetables and a puree of beetroot. Fabulous. Followed by chicken rolled up with a jus and seasonal vegetables, also fabulous. Pudding was roasted pear and a ginger snap type crisp with cider ice cream. Also superb. Eat here. It's great.
