We have eaten here before but not for a while but based on this meal, it won’t be long before we go again. We perused the menu while having an aperitif and enjoyed an amuse bouche at the same time. As one of us was having fish and the other a ‘faux filet’, we had wine by the glass white for madam and red for me. Not the greatest wine but perfectly adequate. Moving to the meals, for my other half it was a whole egg served with asparagus in a cream of artichoke jus. For me, it was the Foie gras, with both starters drawing praise. It was then on to the mains fish of the day for the wife maigre (whatever that is) which she felt tasted a bit like sea bass but better while for me it was a bit off...
