it is part of the season when the daffodils are out, and they must be blind here. so we went. we left plymouth and drove the train to calstock, and from there we took the 1-1/2 miles away to the house. very easy to follow and find. at the arrival is its typical well oiled national trust machine. the plots are held in large order and the caffe is excellent, and a reasonable price. another way to the quay, which was closed for work and then back to the train only a 4 they asked, good it would have been 5 but a return in the later early summer the gardens and gardens will be in full for a much larger representation of these fantastic gardens.
