Heard all the rave reviews about this place and had to give it a try. If you have experienced the greats in the city (seven hills, flour and water, etc) this is definitely on the top list of best Italian fine dining experiences. They were so thoughtful for our anniversary they had printed our names on our place mats and brought out a dessert to share, it made my night. The ravioli is worth trying, it was smaller than expected but very delicate and delicious. You must get the steak, it’s shareable and seared to perfection. I’d love to come back with a bigger group to taste more of the menu

From the first drink they prepared a custom cocktail based on our vague description. That cocktail was amazing. From there onwards all of the 8 dishes we ordered were incredible. Corn pasta was sweet and soft with some saltiness from the corn and sauce. The ricotta cheese in the raviolo was soft and fluffy. The agnolotti's texture was perfect for the meats inside. On the desert side, the vanilla and honeycomb gelato was so soft with bits of crunchy salty sweet. These are just the highlights but everything was good! Overall amazing experience

Beautiful restaurant and the service was great! The food was underwhelming. The dishes that did shine were the GIORGIO'S BRUSCHETTA, MONTEREY BAY SQUID, RAVIOLO di ricotta, and the piece de resistance was the simple FOCACCIA di Recco. The biggest disappointment was the TAGLIATELLE AL TARTUFO. It was lukewarm and the truffles did not have any flavor. The dessert was good and not too sweet. I did not know Kim Kardashian's favorite dish here is the FOCACCIA di Recco. Highly recommend that!

We had the NICEST server ever. I can give this place 5 stars just for the level of service we got. It didn’t hurt that the food was delicious as well. We ordered the in-season Corn Triangoli pasta and the Pesto Genovese pizza. Both items were lip smacking and the drinks/tea to go with them were great as well. Just Incredible. These were possibly the best pasta dishes we’ve ever had, anywhere. It takes a lot to say that since we’ve explored some of the best Italian restaurants in North America and Italy. Just unbelievably complex, balanced and refined flavours. The pappardelle and spaghetti with anchovies were particular standouts. 10/10 Do not miss this.

Came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we had such a wonderful time here! Food was delicious! Staff was friendly, and restaurant is beautiful! We especially liked the attention to detail throughout our dinner!! Thank you for making our 18th a special one!!

Lunch with my friend. Server was totally bland and appeared disinterested beyond taking the order. Busboy was really nice and should have been the waiter. Pizza was nothing special. The good tip was definitely because of the busboy.

Everyone should celebrate their birthday at Cotogna. Best pasta in SF. Everything else was also 10/10. Cute outdoor parklet as well. The end. This took me a month to post because I was having too much fun. Reserva una mesa ahora

This was easily one of the best meals I've ever had. But that doppio Gelato might have been the star. I don't like chocolate ice cream, but this is next level delicious. Great job guys
