Country Harvest

We called in to Country Harvest on whilst travelling home after a short break in the area and nearly drove straight past given the location is on an extremely fast and busy main road We took a bit of a chance as we were...feeling rather hungry and were a little desparate for somewhere to stop but we weren't disappointed The groceries in the farm shop looked very enticing which did bode well for our lunch We were seated quickly in the restaunrant although we, clearly, arrived at a good time as a queue formed very quickly thereafter so this is, obviously, a popular place at lunchtime. However, after a brief wait whilst we looked at the menu our order of sausage and caramlised onion toasted sandwich on white and bacon and tomato on granary plus two cold drinks was taken and our food arrived relatively quickly after Admittedly, our order was simple fayre but it was cooked well and each arrived with a fresh salad and coleslaw and the granary bread, particularly, was gorgeous and not a bad price too All the staff were extremely courteous and, now we know it's here, we will be sure to make this a stopping point on our next journey in the area

Country Harvest stands alone on a fast road near Ingleton. The shop is stocked with lots of quality produce including gifts and clothing, but the highlight is the food and drink. Large pies say buy me from the chiller cabinets and if you like a...big coiled sausage they have plenty of them to a Cumberland recipe. The cafe serves hearty portions and has a wide range of food from cooked meals to light bites of sandwiches and baguettes with fillings of your choice. The absolute must for anyone a fan of Yorkshire produce is the chunk of Tea Loaf served with a wedge of Wensleydale cheese delicious.

Met friends for lunch and enjoyed a really good meal in a nice environment with pleasant (if not overworked) staff. Fairly well priced, delicious food. Whenever I visit I feel that its a little old fashioned and could make much more of their location. However,...who can argue with good food, good service and an almost permanent queue of customers waiting to eat. Another bonus is the shop that is part of this establishment, a great range of food, gifts and clothes Will definately be back

Looking forward to a nice coffee after our walk so called in to the Country Harvest. Did find the staff a little offhand but OK. Ordered Lattes and a slice of carrot cake. I watched the lady make the lattes by boiling the milk...with the stem wand and thus ruining the coffee. Perhaps the café manager should get them some barista training!

Very pleasant farm shop on the main road through Ingleton. Called in and bought a few items and also had good coffee and scone of the month in the restaurant. Worth a visit
