My daughter and I went for lunch, first mistake! I had a burger which was really good but they served it with French Fries that looked like they had been sitting out for three days and burned in dirty oil. When I questioned the lady she said,oh no, that is how all our fries look, ewgads. Not good, awful actually, and then she was non-attendant and mad because I complained.I have been going to this place for 30 some odd years, back in the day the food was awesome, not so much anymore..........................................Not even a Thank You as we left the restaurant, and we both spent 11 bucks each for a crappy,old lunch.
This restaurant has been in business for many years and offers delicious food. Their charbroiled burgers are particularly tasty, and their dark and flavorful gravy is a highlight. Their poutine, topped with this gravy and shredded mozzarella, is a must-try. It's a generous portion that gets perfectly melty. We always make a point to stop by on our way to the cottage. Their address is located on Highway 48, just south of Aurora Road. The address noted in some reviews is incorrect. If you have the opportunity, definitely give this place a try. They offer a wide variety of dishes at very reasonable prices.
It's been there for years and is just your normal pit stop burger joint. The owners are Greek so your in for a treat if you like souflaki or a gyros. Awesome tisiki sauce and Greek salads. If your in for a burger try the home burger with fries and gravyBetter yet the yummy onion rings. Also get an ice cream cone or milkshake. Yes you can sit inside or on a picnic table outside. Food is homemade and tasty.
Stopped in this small diner yesterday for take out. Had Greek dishes and chicken fingers. The food is good. The service was good. But the Greek dishes are pricey at $15 for a diner at a remote location. They have daily specials at under $10. Which have good options.

If you go to country stop you have to have there Greek food! There chicken souvlaki on a pita is amazing and there tzatziki sauce is all homemade! Highly recommend for a quick good hearty meal! And there gravy for there fries is really good as well!
Great place for a traditional burger with fries. Greek salad is plentiful and especially good with their soulvaki on a pita. Best tzatziki ever. The prices have increased over the years, but you get a full plate and certainly will not leave hungry.
I visited this restaurant twice while visiting family, and we enjoyed the gyros which were very delicious and worth the price. The portions were generous and the staff was friendly. We also tried their milkshakes, which were also very tasty.
The "dinner" plates are plentiful. You can order just calamari or shrimps with no side. There is a large family deal. The seafood was good. We were hungry and the target eatery on the lake was still closed ...

This restaurant is a fantastic place for families in a peaceful town. The gyros, Greek salad, and burgers are all delicious. The prices are affordable.
We visit the country stop regularly. The food is always excellent and very friendly service. Everything is made fresh.
