I 've been here many times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service. Went on 8/19 with my wife and a friend. Had dinner and a couple beers, food and service were both good. The one star review is due to what happened after I got home. It was about an hour after we left, around 8:30pm, my phone rang from an unknown number, and then I got an alert for a voicemail and shortly after, a text message. Both were from Roman at Countryside, who asked me by name to call him back but offered no other details. We have frequented the CS for quite sometime. It’s convenient, has great ambiance and has great pizza and beverages. On our most recent stop I ordered a Crispy fried Chicken Sandwich and the Crispy Fried Chicken salad. Beneath the thick breading was an almost nonexistent cut of chicken that when I went to cut it I had to tear the piece apart. The chicken on the salad was also over cooked and disappointing. Another person we were with had the corned beef sandwich, turned out to be flavorless. I clearly recall the food being generous and tasty. I hope this post elevates your awareness that you have a problem and hope that you will take steps needed to rectify.
Truly happy to see Countryside is still going strong. As an early adult who lived very close by, my friends and I would meet up here quite often for late night food and drinks almost always ordered the pizza, which was never less than amazing. When the Jordan led Bulls were winning championships, we watched many of the playoff games here. Always a great time. I no longer live in Illinois, but whenever I'm back for an infrequent visit to my old stomping grounds, I always stop by Countryside and am never disappointed. Thanks for so many great memories, and here's to your continued success!
Food was good, the place was clean, our waitress Allyson ignored us. Anytime we needed anything we would have to wave her over, but I saw her check up on every other table outside. The only thing she brought quickly was the check and said I 'm not trying to kick you guys out or anything . I asked for a Togo box and she said sure and just walked away. After a few minutes I asked a bus boy for a container and he walked all of 10 feet to where they were and got me one. So definitely check this place out and if you get Allyson ask for a different waitress.

This place right here has the best fried chicken in Chicagoland in my opinion. The chicken is super juicy and super crispy. I don’t know they prepare the chicken breast but I swear that is the only chicken that I eat. On Sundays they have a special half fried chicken, mashed potatoes and corn. Just writing this review has me drooling wanting some.
After a lackluster experience with a previous server, we bravely took a chance on this joint once again.Thank the foodie gods for Molly, who showed us why we keep coming back for more deliciousness! This joint rocks! 5 stars all the way. Try their pizza!
AMAZING SERVICE!!!!! I was served by a gentleman named David. Splendid time I had at countryside as always. David was quick and efficient at our table and has a great sense of humor!!! Keep up the great work man!
What a cozy spot near my job. Drinks are phenomenal the white sangria and the apple Martini my favorite. Pizza was very delicious a great place to hang out after work (for sure! .

Nice atmosphere, friendly service. The outdoor patio area was currently getting a makeover, so it was not open, but I could see that space as really a perfect space in the summer.
The servers were super friendly and polite. Good service. Food came on time. Will definitely come back.
