Court Street Cafe - Reserva de mesa

I looked this place and was so excited to visit. A total mistake. I only asked for soft eggs, three times they came out hard. I asked to speak to manager. Worse manager she was rude and began to complain 9 eggs when it was in fact 6. She then became sarcastic and accused me of having a bad day. Whats wrong with people? Worse experience I have EVER had. If they can't cook soft eggs, just say so. UPDATE: Received a response which explains the service and breakfast. Regarding the cook. Apparently his credentials are not that great since he couldn't prepare soft scramble eggs. I'm from Philadelphia and it's not an unusual request. I stand by my comment and now that I have received their response...

There's no doubt that the food was overcooked, and the manager was quite rude. The pricing doesn't match the quality of what you get. We ordered the rib, which is supposed to be 16 to 20 ounces, but they served us a burnt piece that weighed only 10 ounces. When we brought this to the manager's attention, he claimed that the fillet was thin and not cooked properly, despite us specifically ordering a ribeye.

The burger took 30mins to cook and prep...to go! It may have been a delicious burger, but *all* of the staff at the front we're complaining in front of me about something that happened in the kitchen. Whatever may have happened, I didn't need to hear about it and also in front of all the customers at the front counter. Absolutely delicious burger, but I don't think I'll go back because of what happened.

I absolutely love this café! I've visited a few times since we've been on this side of the river, and I can confidently say it’s one of my favorites. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is friendly, and the food is incredible. You can really taste the authentic flavors of Louisiana. During our stop in Port Allen, my wife and I decided to have an early dinner at 5:00 PM. We started with the Crawfish queso and pig skins as an appetizer, followed by the French Dip Poboy and Crabcake sandwich for our main courses. The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Dry dry dry! Burger was over cooked as you can see. The potato was dry and hard. Hardly any condiments was given. This was a lunch order being delivered. 1st and last time ordering. Truly disappointing. However the fried okra I ordered was the best thing

This is a lovely restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The food was enjoyable, and seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis. They also have a bar area available.

No to a customer. Red beans and rice. You gave it back and you said that? You don't need to serve if they can't afford to put red beans on the table
