In town visiting and heard some of the amazing history about the De Soto. Naturally, we figured we'd try their dining! What a let down. Ordered the classic Eggs Benedict and coffee. The English muffin was burnt and the hollandaise was clearly from a packet/bag and was an alarmingly yellow/orange color. It was nearly inedible. We stayed at DeSoto House and got breakfast from Courtyard twice. The Apple Compote French Toast was so good! I wish I got it the second day too. The lemon blueberry crepes were good but now I'm craving the apple French toast again. It didn't need syrup. The heavy whipped cream was a perfect compliment for it. My husband loved it too! Very nice restaurant located in the heart of downtown. I had the Cuban and it was “ok”..too sweet for my liking. I found out it's less sweet of you remove the pickle. Others at my table had Mac and cheese, fries, fruit, and more. The service was very good, the staff — especially the latina ladies working here — are awesome. The place is very nice. We stayed at Desoto Hotel had breakfast included the next morning great options got the Desoto Skillet it was tasty fresh and a side of biscuit and gravy which I haven’t had in years very authentic fresh brewed coffee was good too very busy but service was great friendly no complaints forgot to take a picture of skillet

The Service was decent, went expecting to have a good breakfast but instead got a very bland and tasteless meal the only thing that really had taste was my Cranberryjuice, hashbrowns where soggy toast was basically bread also came soggy. Would recommend either making your own breakfast or going to Otto's instead
The food was very good. We came in through the lobby entrance, taking the elevator down into the restaurant. Not busy when we went in, but was getting busy as we were leaving.
Man we had a great Dining experience… we had a couple sipping drinks at the Basement bar Followed by a Great Steak Dinner! The Desoto House Made our list of Galena Spots!
Had a fantastic breakfast here. The strawberry stuffed French toast, skillet, and biscuit and gravy were all delicious. Would highly recommend!

Great place for a late night brunchers and late breakfast services are available for quick sitting
French toast was good. My husband had an omelet. It was over cooked.
