My parents and I had to say here after a disaster of a travel experience on Christmas night this year. The staff made the stay! The girl at the front desk was extremely helpful. She was able to track down a Chinese restaurant for us that would deliver to the hotel on Christmas and even spoke to them in french to explain things since I am far from fluent. She also helped us call a locksmith (long story... and book some train tickets. And she gave us free internet access cards! Maybe she was just bored since we were one of very few people staying at the hotel, but regardless she went above and beyond! The rooms are nice and clean and the suites are good size. I love most Marriott's but this one is exceptional. There's a complimentary shuttle and all of the staff here treat you like you have status BEFORE they realize you actually have status! Special shout out to Jean-Michel for remembering to mention all the things I forget to ask at check in. It's invaluable to have someone remind you of everything you need to know after 36 hours of travel time. The restaurant has typical European hours, more limited on the weekend. I heard absolutely no sounds while in my cozy room. Stellar experience! My only suggestion: I wish they had more water for purchase options and the room temperature was limited by presets.
I'm a Marriott fan because most of their hotels are really nice, and this one is no exception. It's a really short drive to Toulouse Airport. The design is really nice and the rooms are spacious. The hotel staff was really helpful, especially since I was looking for a place to run in the area. They immediately produced a map that had a running/walking trail at a nearby canal. My room was clean and quiet, and I don't recall hearing the sounds of any planes taking off at the nearby airport.
Very Friends staff, clean rooms. They have a mini shop where you can buy drinks and snack at a very reasonable price. The restaurant has about 20 main courses on the menu and a small daily menu, too. Try the Gourmet Burger, it's pretty nice. There is not much around this hotel, except the Airbus St. Martin campus (in walking distance) and some other enterprises. To get to downtown Toulouse, take a taxi at around 30 Euros.
The room was nice; however, the staff was extremely rude when my colleague and I were helping ourselves to what we thought was complimentary coffee/espresso in the lobby. It was a simple mistake (but there were no signs to indicate otherwise). Also, it is very common in hotels, especially Marriott brands, to coffee/tea as a courtesy offering to guests. I will not stay here again not worth it.
