We ordered 2, fish and chips and a kids portion yesterday and were served by an incredibly rude, surly child. He took our order whilst still chatting to his friend, who also worked there, we had to repeat the order 3 times to him. He boxed up one meal and we asked if we could have salt and vinegar, we were very rudely told, I will do it at the end! . We said that was fine and could we just have salt on one portion, once again the surly child barked a response, as I 've just said, I will do that at the end! . There was absolutely no need to speak to us like that, we were regular local customers, but not any more. Also, why would anyone box everything up, close the box then open them again to...

What a hidden gem, this little gem was awarded top 10 fish chips in Cornwall. Well seeing is believing......the award was NOT wrong...... IT 'was Delicious. I have tried 6 of the top 10 in the best Fish chips list and believe this should be No 1 ! The best crunchy well fried chips served anywhere in Cornwall. Now for the main dish .....Fish largest best crispy battered fish I have ever had ..... believe me I 've had many. Handsum ! Mushy peas to die for.... If you haven 't tried Cousin Jacks then I suggest you do . you will not be disappointed ! Excellent prices , warm and friendly service, I placed on order on FB and it was waiting for me when I got there.

Great tasting and fresh fish, chips and sausages. For our family of four (two boys, aged 13 11) we had two large chips, plus fish and sausages. Big portions of chips we easily had enough to go round and had a fair few left over. I got there about 6.15, with about 10 people in the queue. It soon went down, as they had a few people turning over the orders. We are on holiday, staying in Portreath. It was only 5 minutes drive away. Parking was fine, as there were spaces on the road outside, with cars coming and going as people picked up their food.

The food at this restaurant was delicious. The fish had a tasty batter and was cooked well, while the chips were flavorful and not greasy. We ordered 3 cod dishes, 2 with chips and a Jumbo sausage. Although all the food was tasty, there was a noticeable difference in the size of the cod portions, with two being smaller and one regular. Unfortunately, there were no chip forks provided so we had to eat with our fingers. The price of fish seems to have increased, but this is not unique to this restaurant. Our meal cost £29.00. Amazing chippy absolutely love this chippy it’s like a dream come true only problem is the prices have slightly gone up recently 3 Pound for a large chips was a perfect price now it’s increased I have stopped going as much.I beg from the bottom of my heart that the 3£ large chips comes back.Other than that my favourite chippy much love.

I had to discard most of the chips as they were mostly small, crispy pieces and very greasy. Paying £4 for a large order of chips was disappointing, as they were of terrible quality. I would not return to this restaurant again due to the poor quality of the chips. I apologize, but I have to be honest.

Chips were great as always. However they severely burnt the fish cake and can’t have not noticed when they put it upside down in the box. I mean it wasn’t a little burnt it was cremated. Shame cause normally great and my favourite chippy. I hope it was a one off.

Fantastic fish n chips we had the small portions which were more than generous. The batter on the fish was light crispy the fish was moist and well cooked. The chips were crispy fluffy on the inside. Well done we will be back Thank you very much.
