This restaurant is a hidden gem. The hash is fantastic, and the French toast is made from fresh French bread. The food was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Prices are quite reasonable. If I had to mention something to improve, it would be that the coffee is a bit strong, but they do offer other flavors as well. They only accept cash, but there are ATMs available in the restaurant. Definitely skip the Dunkin' across the street and come here instead!
Cowbells Cafe used to serve simple and delicious food, but over the past 2-3 months, I’ve visited 4-5 times and ended up sending food back or leaving it uneaten. The eggs were undercooked, the bacon was soggy, and the coffee was oily—there were shiny oil bubbles on top no matter how much I stirred or tried to skim them off. While the new decor looks fantastic, the quality of the food has really declined.
This morning, I ordered my first breakfast from this restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, providing great value for your money. I have a big appetite, but I struggled to finish the meal because there was so much food. When they say "big," they truly mean it! I didn't rate the atmosphere since I haven't dined in at the restaurant yet.
Holy cowbells! Sausage and gravy was so flavorful and smooth. The homemade biscuit was fluffy and crunchy at the same time. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly (I’m picky) and the homemade hash was beautifully shredded and insanely flavorful, just AWESOME! Not to mention fantastic customer service. So, so good. The food was decent, but I didn't appreciate the rush to leave after we tipped generously with 50%. We would have liked to take our time to digest and chat a bit longer. At the time, the restaurant wasn't crowded and had a few empty tables.
I recently discovered Cowbells, and I was not let down! The staff was fantastic, and the food was top-notch. It was a bit crowded, but that’s understandable for a Saturday morning. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
We had a ham omelette and eggs benedict.. Was cooked perfectly, came out quickly and waitress was right there when we needed anything... Other waitresses even checked in on us.. Amazing!
