Hate to do this but they really dropped the ball. Came in for free peach cobbler but frequent this location at least once a month. Ordered online and they made me add a $1 add on for ice cream in the app because I forgot my wallet which I understand I don’t want anything for free but $1?Took longer than it ever has with no line and the entire time during this exchange someone who looked like owner never even acknowledged a single customer. Very oddThen to top it off I go to eat and it’s MISSING ENTIRE PIECE OF CHICKEN.This lunch special is so inflated at $10 already. Only reason I’m not leaving 1 star is because the people that work there are so nice it almost hurts to leave this after as many times as I have been here over the course of maybe 8 years.Don’t know when I will be back. I will return because love the chicken but will think twice.
Aug 2021. Back to use loyalty club coupon and because we had other errands to take care of in area. Popular with the post-church crowd with friends and family. Great meal again. We don't get to Cowboy Chicken that often as one closest to home was closed. Too bad. OooRah! They are open for limited dine in during virus crises (2020), just a few tables. We don't eat at this location often but closest one to home is now closed. Food was great and we got plenty of leftovers. BTW: we found a shaded parking spot on the south side of building but don't tell anyone.
COWBOY CHICKEN's Chicken Enchiladas w/ tomatillo sauce is perfection. Creamed spinach Ranchero pinto beans are my favs, and their yeast rolls are awesome! Giant chocolate chip cookie is HUGE and crispy as well as the awesome peach cobbler (One can add ice cream for $1 extra). Super deal: Lunch Special is served 7 days a week between 11a 3p.
