I'm not one to normally write a review, but to not share my experience would be doing the community a disservice.I got to the restaurant with my plus one at 7:30. There was one other person in the restaurant. We were sat down by a middle-aged woman with black hair and she prompty asked if we were ready to order. We hadn't been given a literal minute to look over the menu. I told her no and she then explains that the restaurant would be closing in 30 minutes; although the website and Google state 8:45 PM. I said okay and to come back in 5 minutes. She returns and we place our order. Shortly after she returns with the food. 40 minutes later, she never returns. We finished eating 20 or so minut...
Cozy Noodles And Rice is...cozy. It has such a crazy interior it almost makes me forget about how good the food is. Lots of action figures, robots and whatever crazy treasures others discarded have been placed on every square inch of the walls. Kind of distracting like there's too much going on, but it's clear this place is more than about food. This location doesn't feel quite as welcoming compared to the other one, maybe because it's not the same area probably. All the stuff that's in here, and there's still enough room to dine inside. It's hard to look away, and you'll be scanning the walls throughout your meal. This restaurant is almost packed full of random items like the one at Wrigley...
I never write a review but this one I had to. Please make sure you check your bill because she will just say the total but you will never know that the total she quote is with 20% tip already added. This is like scamming people. They know people don't usually pay attention to the price of food so people usually think that is their total and because there is a space for tip, people wite extra tip without knowing they are paying 35 to 40% tip.The server (probably the owner) is extremely rude and everytime you ask for something like a straw she would sigh and give you a look.Bad bad service. An authentic 5-star dining experience. Having lived in Roger’s Park for 1.5 years, we regularly order Thai Chinese Asian cuisine. After trying numerous restaurants, this one stood out above the rest. The food was incredible – from the rice dish to the curry dish to the noodle dish, each became a new favorite. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant's ambiance was truly unique and impeccably clean, reminiscent of a clever museum store. Stringent sanitation measures were in place. When one item was incorrect, they replaced it promptly without any fuss. Note: a service charge, listed as gratuity, is automatically added to your bill for dine-in customers.

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, especially my favorite dish: Spicy Basil Leaves with chicken. I usually have it for lunch, and it comes with a choice of salad or baby egg rolls. I always opt for the crispy egg rolls, which are served warm with a delicious sweet sauce. The decor is lively and there is usually convenient parking nearby. The only downside is that they automatically include gratuity in the bill without informing customers, leading some to unintentionally tip twice. Despite this, I am excited to try more dishes on their menu in the future.
Do NOT come to this restaurant! The reviews here about scamming customers for tips are true!!! They wont give you and itemized bill at check out, and the lady will verbally give you the total. When i asked for an itemized bill, it showed the individual menu items’ prices which did NOT add up to the total she gave me.On top of that, she asked for more tips! When i said that tips looks like they are included already, she asked me TWICE to give her tips when i explained that the gratuity is clearly included. Do NOT recommend this restaurant at all.
This is a great place that I frequent often. The decor is really unique with various items displayed on the walls, creating a cozy atmosphere. The service is decent and the food is generally excellent, although some dishes are better than others. Keep in mind that this restaurant does not serve alcohol, so you'll need to bring your own if you want to enjoy a drink with your meal (BYOB).
this place is such a clasp of evanston and among the northwestern students, but after my last visit I am sad to say I have felt very underwhelmed. I should.
