We wanted to explore a new spot for date night, and this place certainly exceeded our expectations. From the outside, it may not look like much, but don’t let appearances fool you! The food is fantastic, and the owners are wonderful—it's like having your friends’ parents ensuring you have everything you need. We ordered several seafood boils and chose different items, all of which were delightful! I highly recommend trying the house special seasoning. This is hands down, without a doubt the best seafood boil restaurant I have been to. They make the Cajun season in house so when you ask for extra spicy, it is spicy and not salty. The seafood is super fresh, and the portions are generous at their price point. The staff is also super friendly and excited to make the food to your liking. They have an extensive fried food menu that I did not get to sample (besides the perfectly cooked jalapeno poppers) but I have never seen one that large at this style of restaurant. Birthdays coming up for me and my sister so we decided on Crab legs. I was worried when we got there- it was empty. We were the first customers for the dinner hour. I was determined to get our crab legs so we ordered the crab boil with 2 clusters. It came with small whole potatoes, a section of corn on the cob, and a hard boiled egg all swimming in a garlic butter sauce. Excellent. Perfect. Delicious. Now that I know how good it was and the service is excellent, I won?t wait for a special reason next time.
We were craving Cajun food, so we searched online and came across this restaurant, which had excellent reviews. When we arrived, we noticed the parking lot was empty, which made us a bit concerned. Nevertheless, we decided to give it a chance, and I'm glad we did! The food was full of flavor. I opted for the garlic butter, the kids had the Cajun mild, and my husband chose the Cajun medium/hot. I traveled to Detroit from Virginia with a strong craving for a seafood boil. I searched for "crab boil near me" and was drawn in by the positive reviews for Crab Kitchen. Upon arrival, we noticed that the parking lot was empty, but the "Open" sign was illuminated, so we decided to go inside. The hostess welcomed us warmly and was very accommodating. The food was outstanding, and I would definitely visit again.
Sue and Kenny welcomed us with such warmth and friendliness; they truly made us feel at home. Sue was great about refilling my iced tea, which I really appreciated since I tend to drink quickly. I've visited several seafood boil places, and this one is by far the best I've experienced. We will definitely be returning to try more items from their menu!
This place is a gem! By far my favorite seafood boil place of all! I?ve tried many of them from Sacramento to Nashville to Chicago and none of them tastes as good as this one! Their home made clam chowder is super delicious as well! Owners are very friendly and the establishment is very clean! I would definitely return for more!
