Okay the food wasn't gourmet. It was southern style cooking hi fat, high starch. But it was done well and it was satisfying. The country store attached was interesting as well as the old style foods and specialty items. I'm not a fan of perfume and walking through the door practically sent me sneezing back out. But the service was quick the waitress was pleasant and we got what we asked for. It was wheelchair accessible and the menus definitely kid friendly. What kid doesn't love Max and cheese. And there's also the chicken fingers and the traditional kid type foods.

Had the best meal ever and a fantastic waitress. Got the order perfect and it was so tasty! I highly recommend vegetable soup, the lemon pepper rainbow trout (ask for less spice if you like it that way), broccoli and a baked sweet potato. Healthy meal. There was a nice real fire going in the old- fashioned giant fireplace too! Since it was mid- week, there was no line, and no crowded spaces indoors and lots of parking in the lot available. Masks were worn except when eating. Handicapped accessible parking and restrooms...but not the doors. I will return.

Quick comfort food for our family of 5. Wife had the southern fried chicken it was seasoned very well. Kids ordered from the kids menu but ate all our sides. I had the steak and the hamburger steak so I had 5 sides between the two entrees. Here’s a pro-tip. My son put the fried apples in between a split biscuit and he loved it! We had to wait 15 minutes but there is some much to look at in the country store the time flew by. Great road trip stop.

The restaurant was extremely crowded for a Sunday morning. We were initially told there would be a 20-25 minute wait, but we were seated within 10 minutes. The waitress promptly took our drink order followed by our food order. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our food, but it was understandable given how busy the restaurant was. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

The service at this restaurant was excellent. Our waiter, Alex, took care of our party of 8 efficiently. He provided great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the entire menu. One person in our group had allergies to draught, and Alex was very accommodating. Overall, it was a satisfying visit with a surprisingly affordable bill.

My go-to place in NJ when I want to eat southern food. My favorite side choice is fried okra and I like their cornbread. Usually get country fried steak, meatloaf, chicken n’ dumplins, fried chicken, or sugar cured ham as the main dish. The restaurant decor is fun and the staff takes care of you. Also, it's fun to browse the country store.

LONG wait time over 1 hour on a Sunday afternoon, so plan accordingly. Despite the long wait times, Cracker Barrel’s food is delicious as always. You always know what to expect. Their food is cheap but never lacking in flavor or quality.

Cracker Barrel is a great spot to stop for a meal during a road trip. It's not fast food, but rather a nice sit-down restaurant serving delicious, home-cooked meals. They offer comfort foods with all the traditional fixings.
