This is our closest Cracker Barrel, so we will often go dine in or order from there. The past two times we've been, our experience hasn't been the best. A few months ago we went and ended up leaving without even getting our food. It was busy, but we were sat rather quickly. Our waitress came up soon after and took our drink and food orders. When she brought our drinks, she brought them in styrofoam cups as we were told they didn't have any clean glasses at the moment. I don't mind drinking out of a styrofoam cup, however, every other person in there had real glasses including everyone that came in after us. We sat there for probably an hour and never got our food. Cracker Barrel, what happened was just there yesterday with my kids, though the food was on extremely hot plates. It tasted old. I mean, like they made the food earlier in the day and had it sitting under hot laps old. My chicken fried chicken was tough dry, and the gravy was a lumpy cold glob. My daughters shrimp only came with four pieces and overcooked carrots. My son’s burger was dry with a half of slice of cheese and my eldest chicken dumplings had on two pieces chicken. I also could’ve sworn there was daily dinner special.. Lastly there was a foul odor in the country store that was wafting into the dining area I miss this Cracker Barrel from 6yrs ago.
I’ve never left a Cracker Barrel unsatisfied until today… I had a great, attentive waiter who took good care of me, but the food was lackluster at best. Warm pancakes (not super fresh , scrambled eggs cooked way overdone (asked for them to be more of a medium scramble , bacon hardly cooked at all (I asked for “really crispy” , but at least they didn’t mess up the hashbrown casserole. Bummer.
My 2 pancakes were burnt on the bottom and my husband ordered French toast that had no flavor and was blah.We ended up throwing our meals in the trash. We passed IHOP and Metro Diner to give Cracker Barrel our money and a try. We’ve dined at Cracker Barrel many times over the years. This was not a good visit at all. Not when we have to throw our food out!

Everything was hot and tasty and the server was very attentive. Was not happy to see the waitress having to buss tables and serve the tables. Are they getting the pay for bussing tables as well as for serving tables
If you like Cracker Barrel, this place hits all of the marks! I always love the atmosphere and browsing the gift shop! The food was tasty!
Always love meeting friends at CB! We all had something from the new menu and it was delicious. In fact, I had leftovers for today!
