You almost can 't go through a town without seeing a Cracker Barrel. At some point in your life you can pull over pull in and sit down and see what it 's all about. That 's what I 'm doing today. The food isn 't something that you write home about, but the experience with all the decor and sweet servers is probably what you are really here for. Its about on par with an IHOP, Denny 's, or Jim 's in terms of quality. My biscuits were fluffy but flavorless, as was the gravy, and the ham was so salty that it was almost inedible. Eggs were eggs, but my over medium was more like over easy with clear whites slipping out onto the plate and jiggling when my husband cut his pancakes. His pecan pancakes and bacon were burnt, which was less than favorable. The hashbrown casserole was tasty, though. Our server Jamie was super sweet and her demeanor was exactly what one hopes to get at a place like this. She is the source of the third star, otherwise I 'd give 2 stars.
