Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We both ordered the 4 piece fried chicken. Was a bit disappointed when the food arrived about 7 minutes after ordering because at other diners, you wait 20 minutes or more for fried chicken. I told the waitress that was quick and she said their chicken is precooked. It was ok, but I wont order it again. I guess it sits in a steam table or some sort of oven to keep warm. The chicken was not crispy either.

Visited me! Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered two strawberry mimosas that were very good. It wasn't long waiting for our meal to be brought to our table. He had Meatloaf and I ordered the Rainbow Trout. Both meals were delicious! Can't Cracker Barrel leave without buying a bag of candy?

The menu was limited, which I'm good with. My eggs were under cooked from what I ordered but not a super big deal. Service was great. And pancakes were great (main reason for going, and the hashbrown casserole)

Gravy was cold and didn't taste right. Otherwise the food was ok and the server was very good.

I love her Uncle Heather's breakfast with roasted cats! Very satisfying and tasty
