If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. My family and I ate here on Easter Sunday and waited thirty minutes to be seated and when we did get seated it took another forty five minutes to get our food and the restaurant wasn't even full. The whole ordeal took three hours. The waitress (Deb) was incredibly slow serving at the time two tables and she's the waitress who's been there the longest we were told. We thought she was new. When the food finally arrived my chicken tasted hard (skin) and the chicken tasted like it had been sitting out. It was obviously cooked in old grease, my mom's meatloaf was overcooked and burnt. This was incredibly disappointing for a restaurant that has served quality food for decades. The server, Lori, was polite, but ignored my changes to my order, even asking if I had any changes. My eighties were over cooked and cold. The fruit cup had five whole pieces of cut fruit, three strawberry halves and two pineapple chunks. The regular eggs my daughter received were clearly not really scrambled and also cold. The gravy was tasteless, which ended up making the biscuits (the only good part of the meal) taste bad. Came to eat dinner alone. I was traveling. Was sat at a table. Another couple was seated 5 minutes later. They got their drinks and food before I was even waited on. Got my menu. Sat for nearly 10 minutes no waiter/waitress. Was not busy. A waitress from another area finally got my order. Finally get my food and was never checked on. Finished and sat for another 10 minutes waiting on my check. Had to get up and find someone. Will never come here again.
I ordered Chicken Fried Steak with green beans and Hash Brown casserole. I was very disappointed in my meal tonight, the hash brown casserole, the potatoes were not cooked fully. They also gave me a spoonful of green beans like they were feeding a young child. The server also forgot my granddaughters ranch dressing. I did tell the server about my potatoes and she looked like she was lost. Both of my granddaughters enjoyed their meals.

Probably the worst experience I've had at a Cracker Barrel. Poor service and poorly cooked food lead the negatives. Tables were not dirty, just not clean if that makes sense. I had taken 3 work associates here. We walked from the local hotel. It was a little embarrassing to be honest. Definitely not what I expected. Maybe chalk it up to mid-week visit after 8 PM.

Mash potatoes was very dry beans was dry Ham was flavorful but super chewy it reminded me why I stopped eating here. Best part of this Extra Dry meal was the Peach Tea if you can get over the heavy powder tea flavor
we had a good time shopping in the country house before we sat down. the food was delicious, children especially enjoyed the pancakes
