Huge fan of this place live over the road and always come in for cakes, breakfast and drinks on their beautiful deck. The chicken beach burger is amazing, cooked with a chicken THIGH fillet, the slaw is the perfect crunch and the sweetness of the pineapple relish is amazing. Love the plating and overall style of this venue. The staff are always friendly and remembered how I take my coffee (they even guess correctly depending on the time of day) and how I like my eggs. Having met the owners multiple times it's clear to me this local icon is working harder and harder each day to provide locals with a great experience and top quality service and meals. The food was quite good, although the sides (potato wedges, corn, and beans) were slightly undercooked. The drinks were enjoyable, and the service was very friendly and patient as we took our time making decisions. The ambiance was absolutely stunning, featuring a breathtaking view, a lovely breeze, and a relaxed atmosphere. It was perfectly set up for watching the sunset, the ocean, and bathers on a warm summer evening.
I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a casual place to unwind with tasty food and beautiful ocean views.

Came here for a Christmas lunch and hadn't been since last year. I always thought there was a lack of vegetarian options (not just vegetarian/vegan substitute) on the menu. With the new management and new menu, I was so happy to see so many amazing choices for vegetarians. I ate the veggie brekkie with a poached egg and it was amazing! The serving for everyone's meal was great value and the fresh juices were great too! Would really like to come back here again soon!
Much improved we have not visited this cafe for many, many years and after hearing that new owners had taken over just a few weeks ago, we thought we’d give it another go. Perfect bluebird day with beautiful views of the bay and most importantly, accompanied by excellent coffee food. A nice fresh menu with good variety and will definitely be back!

Down to the beach for breakfast with friends. A colder windy day, so we sat inside. Very nice coffee in very nice surrounds, the view out to the port was great, large opening doors out to the deck would make it lovely on a nice warm summers day. Breakfast was very good, served in good time, presented well and hot. Overall a great experience.
I stopped by for a coffee and ended up having lunch. I enjoyed the delicious Thai fish cakes paired with roasted beetroot and rocket salad. The staff were very friendly, and despite the overcast weather, the view of Melbourne and the Peninsula was stunning. I will definitely come back on a sunny day to try more from their tasty menu!
Fabulous place to enjoy a Devonshire tea overlooking the bay. The waitress we had today was cheerful and attentive. We will certainly be coming back. The friendly atmosphere, food and service was terrific today. Check that you can get a table before paying for parking, though.
The breakfast food is delicious, and I highly recommend the Spanish eggs. The coffee is great, and the staff are very friendly. The view of the beach or the lawn bowls provides some nice entertainment. If the wind isn't too strong, be sure to request an outdoor table!

Hash brown stacker was delicious and for the price was a very substantial serving. The view of the beach was perfect for a sunny Saturday morning and service was lovely.
Love the new management here! Wonderful friendly service, great food and fabulous cappuccino and wines! Also expansive views and dog friendly! Can't ask for any better!
