"This place has a nice casual yet classy atmosphere. We sat outside but every table had its own heater. It was very comfortable. The waiting staff was super on top of it. She checked in often and was super friendly. The drinks and food were good and the menu had a nice arrangement of things to get. We got fried squash blossoms, the fried chicken, and the wagyu burger. All of them were great. It was a fun night."

We went here on Sunday, June 12 with friends from the state. The staff is motivated, friendly and efficient. You listen. The wine list is quite limited, which is a reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. The food is excellent and delivered at the right temperature; but if you eat outside, which is a covered terrace next to Pacific Coast Highway, the Essenstemp will fall with the wind from the nearby ocean. This is naturally expected, but it is recommended that you might want to sit inside. Traffic noise is also a big negative for the outdoor area. I had the seashells with Risotto. The Risotto was mummy. My wife had the Halibut, and it was delicious (we share). A guest had the pork stable he enjoyed and shared a little with his wife. The pork chop was 16 ounces with bones and looked like he could feed a platoon! Our other guest had Duck Breast whom she loved and whom I will try on our next visit inside. The bar served a beautiful old fashion in a smoked glass. My wife enjoyed it, and she opinated that it was certainly an honest spout. I say try it for food and excellent service; but sit inside and expect a limited wine list.

My wife and I have eaten two nights in a row so that we could taste different drinks and dishes as the first night was so pleasant. The second night was not disappointed. The cocktail selection is quite extensive, and I really enjoyed the four different I tried. It is not so often that you can find Fernet Branca on the menu at all, and deftly used it. Make sure the Birria Eirolle appetizer, even if you have to skip a Entrée. You're so good. In the first night I had the Poke salad, which was very good, but the kimchi pasta in the second night was exceptional. My wife loved the Santa Ana chicken Caesar. We live 1-1/2 hours away, but will most likely go back to dinner.

We wanted a new place around the 75. To celebrate my husband's birthday and wanted to be close to home, so we came here. We were hesitant because a friend came when the handicraft house first opened and told us not to disturb. Now worry! Our meal was fantastic. We started with the Clam-Chowder that was full of taste, then the Macn cheese also great and my husband had the burger and I had both tasted the Burrata salad very well; we have to go with buttercake as we were full and they were excellent. The menu had many dishes that we were interested, so definitely come back to try them.

The salt and pepper shakers and the Birria ice rolls were great! Service was friendly and we had a very nice evening. I took a star because the entire “terrace” area that was built in the parking lot during the COVID is on a very remarkable slope. It is strange that they would construct something that seems very durable and not to maintain it. Also, it is completely enclosed so that the acoustics were quite hard and it was loud enough that conversation was difficult.
