Crave Mall Of America

I’ve never been to Crave but was always interested in going. I decided to go for my birthday. I reserved online and stated it was for a birthday. I didn’t care for the greeting upon arrival and once we were seated the lighting was really dark. My meal tasted alright but my family members were not pleased with their meals at all. I received a free brownie with ice cream, which I thought was pretty cool. That’s until I noticed another person there celebrating her birthday received sparklers along with her free brownie and ice cream. When I asked the waitress about it she acted puzzled like she didn’t know what I was talking about. I asked her was the sparklers extra and she said no. At that moment I realized the place was racist. Why did she get sparklers but I didn’t? Like I wasn’t good enough to get them but the white girl celebrating her birthday was. I will not be eating at Crave ever again. The food was mediocre at best. The chicken wings were not good and the burgers were over cooked. If you are black do not eat there. They will give mediocre service and overcook your food.

We had a late lunch also had a carryout. The 2 orders to go were hamburgers ordered medium well, no cheese on one burger. Side salad was ordered with no cheese. The burgers were overdone, charred on outside the no cheese burger had remnants of cheese most scraped off. The side salad was also ordered no cheese, it had feta in it. Very disappointed in the carryout order. Will think twice before returning.

We ordered the Lemon Garlic Chicken which came with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts and it was excellent For dessert we ordered the Brownie S'Mores and it was triangle shaped brownies on a graham cracker crust with browned marshmallows on top and ice cream. It was big enough to share and was delicious

Make reservations since they do get busy at dinner time. Our server was great and friendly.Food was delicious as always
