During our stay in Mt. Dora, we waited for a boat trip at this lovely restaurant just a short 15-minute drive from downtown. It features both indoor and outdoor seating right by the water and is a favorite among locals. The food here was excellent, and the drinks were strong. We enjoyed a deal on margaritas—2 for $6, which was a great value! The fried mushrooms served with sauce were absolutely delicious, and the chips and salsa with queso were also tasty, with the queso having a perfectly sharp flavor. We tried the scallop basket and the renowned fried fish sandwich, both of which were very satisfying and delicious. It's a fantastic spot to eat and drink by the water.
Food was pretty decent, Cajun Gator bites were good (don't have much cajun flavor tho) and actually the wings were delicious. I gotta say tho, the service was sub par to say the least. Our bites came out pretty quick but our order of wings took way longer than wings should take, especially if they're frozen. The server was a bit curt at first and at the end of our meal she told us she'd be right back with the check... Well we waited almost 15 minutes before getting up and going to the register inside to ask if we could pay for our meal. Willing to give it another shot but honestly I'd probably just be more pleased picking it up curbside ad eating it at home.
The service was terrible; our food took more than an hour to arrive, despite the restaurant not being busy. When it finally came, it was burnt. The waitress was hardly present to explain the wait, and I had to search for her twice. Additionally, there was duct tape all over the seat. We definitely won't be returning. If I could, I would give them a negative three stars.
Great little spot we just happen to find for somewhere bee to eat. Great location. Looks like it might have had a make over at some point I don?t know how old it is but the interior is nice. Displaying old Eustis pictures and paintings. There is a bar attached so you can have full bar options for drinks. Food was good. Would try again.

The food here was incredible, and our waitress, Reighn, was outstanding. After leaving another restaurant, we stumbled upon this place, and it truly exceeded our expectations. It was a fantastic experience!
Service was awesome. I'm not sure what's changed but they're just not the same. Hopefully they'll get back to being as good as they were but will probably take a break from going for a little while.
Food was good, waitress was very friendly and professional. Wait for food was a little long. View from outside was nice. It sits by the pier on the lake.
