Crazy Pig Southern Kitchen

Discovered this off-the-beaten-path diner while passing through Covington, LA, and was thankful that I stopped to give it a shot. Easily one of the best breakfasts I 've had in YEARS. Their menu had 'Schnitzel! ' Who has SCHNITZEL in South Louisiana? So I had to order it. HUGE portion. Two eggs (scrambled, with cheese) on top. A side of breakfast taters. And a massive 'Grilled Biscuit. ' BOOM! Everything was fresh and delicious and cooked with Southern-fried love. So much food I had TWO whole meals from one order. Crazy Pig is no joke. It dropped an elbow on me and I was down for the count. Definitely looking forward to a rematch!

I absolutely love this place. Everything I have ever gotten here is amazing. Also, the service here is excellent. Brandy is such an amazing waitress and always greets my family with a smile. This morning, I got the hash amazing hash, and my son got avocado toast. The portions are huge. Also, when given the option of toast or a biscuit, make sure you get the biscuit. It's homemade and fantastic.

A nice cosy spot tucked away in a strip plaza that had great chicken and waffles (thicker waffles than the thing ones most places serve) and my wife this is her new favorite spot for eggs benedict. The potatoes we soft and seasoned really well. Definitely recommend!

Food was super fresh and delicious! Everything seemed to be made in-house and the staff was super friendly. We'll definitely be back.
