The ruins are intriguing, but it's unfortunate that the farm shop is closed and the café is just a pop-up that wasn't open when we visited. Most of the other shops were also closed, leaving only two open during our visit, which was quite disappointing. We visited on a weekday, there was no wait, and reservations are not recommended.

It's lovely but very small. It's more like a stop on the way to somewhere else. On a lovely warm day you could take a picnic I suppose but children would be very bored. Don't bother with the Easter hunt. Took us less than 20 mins to find 10 eggs and for £4 per child got the smallest piece of chocolate.

I'm mainly giving this place 1 star because the café was closed. We had really enjoyed our lunch there previously, but I've heard they're focusing more on pop-up events now? Unfortunately, there aren't many other shops or options available on a Tuesday, which was quite disappointing.

An English heritage run site that is free to enter. Not a great deal to see hence it being ruins. We didn’t go to the other part where there is a restaurant, cafe, shop, but it was well signposted. Dogs are allowed into the ruins. Dog bin outside the gate. Reserva una mesa ahora

Avoid visiting on a Monday or Tuesday, as we did; everything was closed. The priory ruins, which are free to explore, attract many visitors. You'll find plenty of remnants that will spark your imagination!

Lovely for a stop over. Beautiful ruins. Shame the cafe nearby was closed during Easter holidays.
