Crêperie Bretonne (crêperie Gourmandise Bretonne)

This was my first time here. To be honest, my husband was the one who wanted to eat here more than I. It's offers Fondue, salads, soups and of course crêpes. Even before you walk in, it smells wonderful. It looks nice from the outside. The inside could use some change. As I looked at the menu, I saw they offered vegetable soup. We both ordered a bowl of vegetable soup. It was absolutely delicious. I don't remember when was the last time I ate soup that tasted so good. And I am quite a good cook. Then I ordered a Caesar salad, and my husband had a Coquille St-Jacques. My salad was also very, even though the presentation was not that great. Not in my habit to leave bad comments but I have rarely waited for so long in a restaurant place. I have been waiting for more than 1h30 so far when I ordered one single crepe. If you are hungry, I don’t recommend. Waitress was very in a rush to take our order as she went to ask if we were ready about 3 minutes after our arrival.

The food is excellent, and the crepes are quite filling. However, the service at our table left something to be desired; my friend was overlooked for coffee on several occasions. Additionally, they charge extra if you want to share a plate. Overall, the prices are quite high for what you receive.

The food was decent. The crepe can be customized with fruits, but be careful it will increase the price rapidly. The service was quick, they tend to forget to give water.One thing I noticed, anything with cheese doubles the price of the item as everything can be customized Reserva una mesa ahora

They are not using traditional buckwheat flour, and their crepes lean more towards the dessert style, filled with various ingredients that tend to be on the sweeter side. The onions were undercooked, and the marron dessert was excessively sweet.

This is a lovely restaurant that specializes in crêpes. However, we weren't particularly impressed with them compared to the galettes we've had in France.
