We came across the Creperie by accident as we were trying to find a place to stay during our cycling trip. However, we decided to eat a crepe at the Creperie as it looked so picturesque. The charismatic old appearance of the creperie with the auberge next to it, appeals to both tourists and locals. It's situated at the food on a hill, and is not disturbed by busy roads. The terrace and the restaurant are decorated to give a warm and cosy feeling.Every once in a while you come across people who are doing exactly what they want and should be doing. The owner of the creperie is like this and it's inspiring. He has assembled a young and energetic team who genuinely love their job and they people they are working with. The service was more than excellent and it felt like a good friend is preparing dinner for you at his own home, with all the care and love that comes with it.The food was simple but very tasty. The creperie mainly uses local and regional ingredients so you will get a real taste of what Normandy has to offer. The crepes were made traditionally and taste exactly how you hope them to be. The cider accompanying the crepes was equally amazing. I would gladly return to the creperie in the near future.

After a long ride from the South we found this place by accident, and were so happy to have landed here for a good meal after a tiring journey. Great service, atmosphere, view and food! Very homely feeling sitting in the sun on the balcony overlooking the village, watching the many birds, peacocks, goose wonder around. There were lot's of smiles and a genuine concern with the guests. This is not just a place with good food, it has a good heart. The host has a great staff which is treated like family, and so are his guests. If you hear the local guests say the food is 'impeccable', you know it's something special, and so it is. Buckwheat pancakes with great local cheese I hadn't eaten anywhere else, and besides the many options of mouthwatering crepes also a possibility to create a crepe yourself, with very uncommon ingredients. Creativity! Some other guests said they'd never had crepes this good in Bretagne itself even. The local cidre goes very well with the original food. Superbe! Best crepes I had in France and definitely a place to come back, for the food as well as the whole atmosphere...

The restaurant is in a unique spot at the back of an old farmhouse. The crepes are wonderful. Fresh and delicious, all made by the very creative chef Wilfried who mixes all the best of Normandy into each of the generously sized crepes and who also runs the restaurant. There is a lovely terrace behind the main dining area as well. Very much worth the visit!

I've eaten at this place a few times a year for many years now and it's ALWAYS good. The quality of the ingredients and the care that Wilfrid takes in preparing them makes this place special. And the newly-covered terrace with a view is really beautiful - see my photos in this review. Definitely give this creperie a try.
