Creperie La Moriniere

We saw on the window that the galettes were 100% buckwheat, so they would be gluten free. I ordered the paysanne, which was absolutely delicious. The edges of the crepe were crispy and the filling was generous with a wonderful mix of flavors. I had galettes two more times while visiting France, and this one was better by far. My brother ordered a cheese galette and was very happy with his also.

Looks like a husband and wife run this. The galettes are good, the crepes are good, and all very filling! The €10 menu is good value. No frills (and no mayonnaise, if you get chips and want some! . If we are in Coutances again, we will probably come back here. It is not necessarily very good, but it is better than average.

Found this place by chance and we all needed food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, Gallettes, crepes and drinks were great. 3 of us had savoury and 2 had sweet 5 empty plates (including a bowl of very nice chips) all five of us (and dog) enjoyed our lunch and very good value for money.

Had lunch here with a family of 6. We had the set menu which included a savoury crepe and a sweet crepe. Both were throughly enjoyed by all. Also really enjoyed a strong coffee which was nice and hot. We visit here every time we are in the area.

Great little creperie, it's a 2-man band service, no frills but efficient and friendly. Great value. Flexible manager. They have a high chair and a children's menu.
