Creperie La Sarrasine

There were 4 of us walking around the marketplace and then visiting some of the old antique shops. We looked for a place to eat and happened upon La Crêperie Sarrasine. It was a good choice for a simple crepe lunch and some wine. The service was friendly and we spoke English to the server without any problem. The bill for the four of us with Wine and some of their Hard Cider, as well as the crepes came to 35 Euros. Do not wait for the bill. Pay up front on the way out. Pretty reasonable I think. And, they have Wi-Fi so you can look at your phone while you eat!

The poor girl that worked there was responsible for about 12 tables inside and out, taking orders, clearing and cleaning tables, serving, and taking payments. She was running the whole time! The food was quite good, but not quite excellent. The place was cute and across from the movie theater, so good for a post movie meal. It would have ranked higher if they had more servers.

Otherwise, they will try to trick you after ordering the bill. Si pedís el menu, debéis especificado encarecidamente. Si no, os van a intentar timar a la hora de la cuenta.

I have had better crepes while in France, but this was a bustling little restaurant away from the tourist area of Versailles. I would recommend for a light and not overly expensive lunch.

We had two excellant crepes meals in this restaurant, well worth looking up if in town. Situated near the market, they were full Sunday but that didn't stop them giving good service.
