We called in here on the way to the Basilica, six of us and a baby needing a high chair, and the owner could not have been more helpful. We were found a table with some slight re-organisation (a couple were happy to move to let us have room) and then looked at the menu. We had not realised the very good organic nature of the food and produce here, a real feature that they take great pride in, and rightly so. We all had savoury galettes, delicious, followed by dessert crepes, also wonderful. We are in the Lisieux area frequently with a rental house nearby, and would definitely go back, as well as recommending it to our paying guests.
I am A FRENCH citizen with my wife and 3 kids. We arrived today at 1:30 pm ( the restaurant says it closed at 2:30 pm) and the waitress literally expelled us from the restaurant with absolutely no explanation. There was at least half the tables empty. I asked for some reason / explanation and she keep saying sorry pushing us by the exist. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere else in france or I the world. We walked 20 meters down and found another crêperie le crep uscule with excellent hospitality and excellent crepes. Service (Franky) was absolutely charming THERE!
On our way to visiting the Basilica we wanted to stop and have a light lunch. The restaurant was busy but there were tables free and a couple were leaving as we walked in the door. We patiently waited for the proprietor to take payment from another couple and then politely requested a table for two (en Français). All he could utter was "pas de place" and continued to serve other diners. There was a group of three potential diners behind us and they did not appear to have a problem getting a table. I can safely say I have never had a more inhospitable welcome.
Delicious!! It was late when we set out for dinner. Unfornatuatley your choices to eat later are limited, unless you made reservations as most closed. We popped our head in the door and asked if they had a table they were very busy but gave the three of us their last table. We had their set menu which is outstanding. Salad, entre, dessert and cider for $16 euros. The owner spoke English and explained the dishes. He was very patience and helped us make excellent choices. I would go back again and make a reservation for sure.

We found this place just down the road from the main basilica and, wanting something quick and easy, we popped in. The Crepes are lovely and cheap and the guy who (we presume) runs the place is friendly and speaks excellent English. Recommended.
beautiful evening in this beautiful crêperie. excellent value quality price. regional pancakes are delicious. everything is made home with local products. The boss is a little shy, don't hesitate to talk to him.
The salted pancakes are very good and you have a lot of different ingredients to go with! The owner is very talkative but super simplistic! It's close to the beautiful church!
Literally locked the door in front of us. All the other restaurants in the area were full, so I don't get where he had the problem with getting guests. Not impressed.

good organic products, crêpes and pancakes of origin or classic, jovial and commercial boss, go for a good crêpe and a little fantasy.
Good Galette's and very traditional French fare. VERY helpful and friendly owner/ operator!
