We ordered three pastas all of which were tasteless due to being microwaved and out of a packet they appeared within 5 mins of being ordered and one of them contained a piece of plastic. When we showed the waitress she simply took the plastic and walked off in a huff. Unbelievable. I called her back saying she had to replace to dish and she was extremely annoyed. The boss owner then appeared to say this had never happened before and there’s no plastic in the kitchen ! She also said they had no bolognese left so I said I’d let the third person share mine. At this point I’d lost my appetite completely. Before leaving the boss appeared again to tell me her son had told her it was the third time plaid had appeared in food and they were going to call the company. No idea what other dishes are like in this place but personally I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole.
Wanted simple but tasty crepes in this simple but colourful cafe/creperie. The service was deplorable from start to finish no enthusiasm, no welcome and no interaction other than to come (eventually) and write down our order on a pad and bring (after an age) our food and drink. Crepes were awful, clearly having been prepared in “previously used” oil, giving the crepes a slightly burnt, oily flavour, made all the worse by the lack of sugar and lemon. Not cheap either!
Went in for a quick dinner to feed hungry kids. They forgot most of our drinks. Then waited 45 mins for pasta and when the food came they had forgotten two of the meals. No explanation, didn’t seem bothered, when trying to find out what was happening I was totally ignored as she was chatting to friends. Terrible. And very expensive for what was served.
Nice place service was good I had fish and chips I would of thought the fish from a sea side village would of been fresh battered oh no super market fish not good but it was tasty My wife had a toasty which looked fine and she said tasted ok but €9.50 for the fish and chips far too expensive
