We were a party of three adults my wife and me, and a friend who had moved away from our own Department (Dordogne , and who we were treating to lunch. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and taken to a suitable table, by a charming waitress (who, we quickly realised, must be one of the fittest in the catering industry! . A gentleman (I suspect that he was the manager, or even the owner brought us menus, and a bottle of water. He allowed us time to make our choices before coming to take our orders. We had lunch here on a Friday. The restaurant is located just off the main road a short distance outside of town and features a striking modern interior. Service was fast and friendly. The extensive menu is in French and only French is spoken. Our galettes were served with a little side salad and both were delicious. There’s parking in front. We enjoyed our lunch here and can recommend it to other travelers looking for tasty galettes.
Gourmet and original pancakes, some served with a scoop of ice cream, a cider with a warm and sunny color, a warm welcome despite the late hour, a room with refined and modern decor, in short an address to discover and remember at Revel. There is nothing to complain about, the experience is worth repeating. Just be sure to be open to flavors, this is my 3rd visit and I am always surprised by unexpected tastes (beneficial or not) when tasting.
