CrepeStar Dessert Cafe & Bistro

We love going to CrepeStar Desserts. The owner is very personable and friendly and the food is amazing. Just two things. The other night when the waitress brought us the debit machine is was automatically set at a 25% tip. We had to select 15% manually. One other thing that bug me was that although the place only had a couple of other people in it the staff seemed to want us to "move along". In their defense we were there two hours talking away but I don't think they should encourage us to leave when no one is waiting. Other than those two thing we love the place.

Food is okay. However, the last few times my family and I have gone, the servers were not very friendly at all and seem to always look aggravated. My children have even commented on the grouchy treatment we have received numerous times. It's unfortunate that management doesn't recognize this, and sadly, we will not be returning anymore.

All the desserts here are truly delicious. They hit my taste buds hard that made me coming back for more. Just wish my appetite was more open since I had a meal before. The food helped make me feel better and that's what counts. Well worth the trip here and can't wait to stop by again on my next trip to downtown.

The food was very mediocre... Not horrible, but I probably won't be back. Not much flavour, and seemed expensive for the quality and portion size.
