A few weeks ago, I had an excellent experience with Mario. He was extremely kind and attentive, to the point that I mistakenly thought he was the owner because he genuinely cared about the guests, the service they received, and the quality of the food. The food at this restaurant is consistently outstanding, but I’ve noticed that the service hasn't always met the same high standard during my previous visits. I've overheard some arguments and even witnessed a man speaking harshly and yelling at other staff while dining with my children. Despite those experiences, I kept coming back for the quality of the food, and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience with Mario.
Crispino's Pizza charges a 3% fee every time you pay with a credit card, which feels unreasonable. Instead of adding this surcharge, they could simply raise their pizza prices by a few cents. It seems like the owner is taking advantage of customers. If that's the case, they should just go cash-only. However, since they have agreements with Visa and MasterCard to accept credit cards, similar to how customers pay annual membership fees, this fee feels unnecessary.
The plain pizza was pretty dull. The meatballs tasted like they were swimming in tomato soup. Where was the parsley, the basil, the flavor? Honestly, I could make a better pizza myself, and I’m not even Italian! The only thing I liked were the garlic knots.
The best pizzeria in all of West Islip! I absolutely love the staff, and I always enjoy walking into a place that's friendly and fun! I don't usually write reviews, but this one definitely deserves it... Magnifico!!!

I ordered from Crispino's Pizza to my room at Good Samaritan Hospital, and it was some of the best Sicilian pizza I've had in years. Their menu really lifted my spirits—thank you!
