Cromars Classic Fish Chips

Just travelled up from livingston to get a nice fidsh supper as we have been many times before. We usually share our experiences from eating here with friends and family as it’s usually great. My kid got a sausage supper and couldn’t eat it, Said it tasted funny. My wife got Macaroni and chips and only picked at the macaroni. My fish supper was absolutely terrible. The chips are just mush. Soaked in grease and tasteless. Tried to speak to someone in the shop on the phone for over an hour and just getting an engaged tone. £33 for absolute junk I wouldn’t give to the seagulls. Garbage

Este pequeño y encantador restaurante está literalmente en el centro de St Andrews... Lo que hace la perfecta localización para reponer energías antes de explorar las bonitas callejuelas de la ciudad... Sirven el clásico Fish Chips en todas sus variantes, mi elección fue filete de merluza empanada (en lugar de con el clásico rebozado) y me encantó! Definitivamente una parada obligada si estáis visitando St Andrews... Después de comer, el paseo hasta el castillo y la playa desde el restaurante es una preciosidad...

Este pequeño restaurante encantador está literalmente en el centro de st andrews. que hace la ubicación perfecta para reponer energías antes de explorar las hermosas calles de la ciudad. sirven las fichas de pescado clásicas en todas las variantes, mi elección fue empaquetado carne de merluza (en lugar del clásico rebote) y me encantó! Definitivamente un debe parar si usted está visitando st andrews. Después de comer, el paseo al castillo y la playa del restaurante es un lugar hermoso.

large fish and chips are the personal really friendly. I really recommend this place if they want a good chippy. please do not go to the restaurant of the **** that is not so inviting, especially if not busy. Anyway, his great experience here, fantastic food of the fish is fresh and only herd when rubbed by the children, loved it very much recommend this place for fish and chips. they will not be disappointed! nothing special. we were hyped on the basis of photos and reviews, but disappointed. the only thing we liked was that it was made to order what shows fresh. but the taste was nothing better than our local chippy in glassgow. batter was hard. dont do gravur, which I found unusual and the person who took our order could only change in 5 pieces in the value of 4

I did not visit St. andrews for a fish sauce, as this was a few years ago. cromars was very busy at 8 o'clock and I can see why. one of the best squids I have ever tasted and cannot recommend very enough. the staff also worked very well. I will definitely be back and not leave it so long

cut and overpriced. the quality has been defined today. the fish was just ok, the chips were all tiny crushed. we asked for ketchup and received the strangest “Ketchup” we have ever seen. who knew “Ketchup” could be bright pink glue!

brilliant restaurant. I couldn't break my fishcakes and chips eating. Except maybe the chips were a little smaller. but both were perfect. the fresh tartaric acid sauce was also great. highly recommended. Reserva una mesa ahora

probably the most tasty fish and chips we had! nice light sprinkle, tasty chips and even the muddy heaps and brot and butter were great! would recommend def...decent cuppa tee also!
