Crossroads Tavern Eatery

We went in specifically for some NOLa style treats for Mardi Gras. I am a New Orleans food snob, who is usually pretty disappointed trying to find that type food in Chicago done well. I was VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!! Excellent Jambalaya, the gumbo was also great, the shrimp po-boy was outstanding and the Hurricanes were great! Well Done!

Always love ordering food from them, even when I get the chance to dine in (wish I could more)! Their new menu is amazing. We got the stuffed pretzels yesterday for my one year old, boneless chicken tenders for my son and my husband got the buffalo chicken Wrap. Nobody was unhappy. Tip: their sweet dyn-o-mite sauce is the best!

There is always a drink special, the staff is beyond amazing, and I can usually befriend a fellow patron every visit. Not to mention they have a rotating draft selection that really delivers the good suds

We came for a quick dinner while in the area. Had an amazing server Andrew who was helpful and addressed our food restrictions with such detail. Great steak sandwich and great service.
