The restaurant has a charming setting with a traditional pub dining room featuring beams and wooden floors. The menu offered a variety of options and the food we ordered was excellent. Despite being very busy, the service was friendly and attentive, making our Sunday lunch experience thoroughly enjoyable.
Lovely food and service as always. The service is always second to none also. I’ve been here 3 times in one month so it says it all really : Being a local business owner myself I can honestly say this is my favourite place to eat in the village : Highly recommend
Great value for money with the set price menu but with high quality food, served very speedily so no long delays between courses. Couldn’t fault the evening for quality, price or ambience. Staff were very helpful and polite.

The service at this restaurant was excellent and the food was delicious. However, we were both disappointed with the fish and crushed potatoes dish as it was dry, heavy, and lacking in flavor.
We were asked to order quickly as they didn't have many Sunday Roasts left. When it did arrive the meat and roast potatoes were dry. It was really disappointing and was not cheap!
Arrived early for our meal, but that was not a problem. Served quickly with delicious food that was mouth watering. Will be returning again. Lots of choice on the menu.
