Crystal Lake Cafe At Americana Vineyards

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The server was hostile and only gave us water, leaving us to wonder why we weren't offered any other drinks. When I expressed gratitude for taking our order, her response was dismissive. Furthermore, allowing dogs in the dining area seemed unsanitary and possibly a health code violation. The food itself was subpar, with my fish fry being overcooked and oily. The fries even tasted like the fish, which was off-putting. Overall, I have no desire to return to this establishment.

I am unsure how this restaurant received 4.4 stars. I recently stopped in for lunch and I regret it. The waitress was rude and only offered us water to drink. She never inquired if we wanted anything else to drink. When she responded with "YUP," any hope of a tip disappeared. The food was mediocre at best, I have had better elsewhere. Additionally, it was off-putting that the restaurant allows dogs in the dining area where patrons are eating.

I absolutely love dining at this restaurant when I visit the Finger Lakes! Their Sunday brunch is the best up there! Everything is homemade with love and tastes so delicious!
