C&s Seafood Oyster Vinings

This used to be my favorite restaurant in the whole of Atlanta but sadly it’s really gone downhill. The last time I visited it was terrible too, but because I used to love it so much (literally I would come here at least twice a week, even if it was just for a glass of wine and their tuna tartare! , I decided I would give it one more try. Unfortunately, the food just isn’t the same quality as it used to be but yet their prices seem to have increased considerably. My husband ordered the special stupidly without checking the price first, but who would have thought that grouper would cost $78 at a non Michelin starred restaurant?! We are visiting Atlanta for the first time. While many highly rated restaurants had seafood, we liked that C S had a great variety of fresh fish on their menu. The oyster selection was great and our entrees (flounder and branzino) we excellent. If you are in the center city area, it's not a bad Uber ride and we were glad we chose C S for our seafood dinner.

Shared a dozen char-grilled oysters. The last time we ate these at C&S, they arrived barely broiled. The server told us to order them browned the next time, so I did. They arrived super over-cooked, so a pro tip is don 't ask for that. I didn 't feel like I could send them back. Lesson learned. We also shared the branzino entree and it was delish.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Keanu, our server, played a pivotal role in making this meal truly special. His outstanding service was attentive and friendly, which added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Will be returning. We celebrated our 25th anniversary with C&S. Omar our server knew menu, had suggestions for my indecisiveness. Our meal was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back.

Mark was very pleasant and engaging last evening. The Lychee drink is a must EVERY time I come in.
