Cuba Libre - Reserva de mesa

Our waitress was friendly and that's pretty much the only positive thing about this restaurant. First of all they don't offer free water cups so you have to pay $2 for their Aquafina waterbottle. This is America all restaurants offer free tap water. The mamey shake wasn't that sweet. Croquetas were thin/small and definitely didn't taste like ham. Masa de cerdo was very very hard/dry. Ropa Vieja portion was small. Salad (especially tomatoes) had an odd taste. Overall it was not a good cuban restaurant and if you are a cuban coming from Miami or NJ you will be disappointed with the food.

If you don’t speak Spanish they will not serve you. Smells moldy and no one was wearing gloves when handling food. So thanks for saving me money! Edit: Yes I have, I waited at the countertop for a solid 5 min before any girl acknowledged me. Then I asked for a menu and she stared speaking Spanish. Then she huffed and puffed so I walked out. Have a nice day.

Absolutely fantastic and authentic Cuban restaurant! The Cuban sandwich was absolutely delicious. The colada coffee was strong and fragrant like I craved. I grew up in Miami and I have been looking for a place like this for a long time. I will be coming back to try the Ropa Vieja and the Fricase de cerdo! Cafe Cuba is my new favorite place.

Café Cuba is definitely the best Cuban Restaurant in Houston Katy Area. The food is absolutely delicious, everything on the menu is great and always fresh. And the employees treat you like family, my wife and I love going there to eat we always feel like we are home. Reserva una mesa ahora

Came to this place for breakfast they have a huge open sign yet when you walk into the restaurant they tell you they have NO FOOD. What type of so-called restaurant has no food? How do you have an open sign yet you don’t have food to serve to your public?

This place was delicious and the new owners so pleasant! One of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. We had tostones rellenos and fry chicken. Very authentic on the taste!
