The welcome was enthusiastic, the staff knowledgable and genuinely helpful, and the food was exceptional....My wife had the wild boar pappardelle to start with, followed by lemon sole. I tried the beetroot and goats cheese to start and then the crab to follow. It’s not often both of us are pleasantly surprised and that the food is better than the description. We recently visited Cucina Angelina for a late lunch and were sorely disappointed by the experience. There was only outside availability which was ok, as the weather was nice. Within moments of sitting down we were asked for our order, so ordered some wine and...asked for a couple more minutes for our food order. We then waited minutes for our wine to arrive and for someone to come back and take our order. Asking asking a couple of times and being told someone would attend to us, we finally gave up and walked out. Have been to Angelina’s many times. Even this week it was our third time there for lunch. Today they had a nasty hostess who knows little about being polite or customer service. A real disaster. Not sure how somebody so poorly suited to be in...front of clients got the job but it makes one wonder. The other times the hostess in place was professional and this makes all the difference. The person working there today is more suited for cleaning the bathrooms than being in front of clients. I wondered if she simply had something against us but in speaking to the other clients, they all shared our opinion. Maybe she’ll go back to cleaning bathrooms soon. One can only hope......

Cucina Angelina is in the Portetta Hotel in Moriond . Full of rustic style,charming and knowledgeable staff and provides excellent locally sourced/ reasonably priced food. While staying in La Tania on a ski trip one of our party booked this restaurant for lunch. The wide...blue ski run into the village is perfect and as you enter the hotel you are asked to remove your ski boots and slip on some light' slippers. Most of us opted for a small antipasta followed by a small pasta. The portions were ample and absolutely delicious. This is a must book venue for anyone who enjoys amazing food in beautiful surroundings. We will be back !
We were guests at the hotel and had lunch here on three occasions and dinner on two. Primarily this was due to convenience. The food was certainly not bad, it was good, but not as good as the price would imply. Rabbit, steak, duck, pork...ribs, spaghetti, they were all fine. I will say that the servers were all friendly and accommodating (even if the service was at times a bit inexplicably slow).
Amazing food here and very friendly and welcoming service. Top marks go to the foie gras dish and the fondue. We have two brilliant dinners with excellent food quality and a mix of French and English team all giving great service, Care and attention.
I honestly can’t understand the low ratings. Five of us had dinner there and it was first glass. Great service, fantastic pasta dishes cooked perfectly, great steak and chips and whopping bowls of tiramisu! Best meal we had in

After a disappointing dinner there previously we gave it another try. New team, new approach. Had excellent lunch -great service, lovely food and would happily recommend.
Felt the menu was very limited although the food was delicious.. pricey.... good selection of wines too
