Cuckoo Trattoria And Pizzeria

This is our first visit to 'Cuckoo Trattoria and Pizzeria '. It was a Thursday and we were in a line-up to enter the Restaurant at 11:40. Restaurant opens at 12pm. We already were the 6th party to enter the restaurant. The Host was friendly and made good contact with every guest. It was a bright sunny day and the restaurant looked beautiful. We were seated near the Window and the view of the Garden was beautiful. Becky was our Waitress. She was friendly and helped us with the Menu. Lovely Italian Restaurant at Coombs. The atmosphere is great. The inside is really lovely and the outside is very romantic. We went with a group of 7 ladies on a Saturday night and we're started immediately. The service was great. We ended up doing the family style dinner with two salads, two pastas and two pizzas. The salads and pastas were great. The pizzas were only meh, the bottoms of the pizza were soggy and very hard to eat. We also ended up ordering the $5 desert share plate which was nice. Top to bottom our experience was lovely. We ended up closing down the restaurant and at no point did we feel pushed out of the restaurant. I must say, I was kicking myself for a long time after I discovered Cuckoo. My wife and I travel the island annually and always stop by but unfortunately didn't stop in until 2 years ago. Nevertheless, we've never looked back. This is a must visit on your trip to the area. The restaurant has a muted elegant atmosphere that is not overbearing and very relaxing. The food is absolutely divine. Fresh ingredients, authentic Italian taste, and great portions. On top of it all, the services has always been stellar. Absolutely outstanding Italian cuisine! The servers are excellent, experienced, and well-informed. The flavors and presentation are exquisite. The pasta dishes are simply perfect! Just a heads up: despite the restaurant's size, it can get quite busy, so be prepared to wait. However, the kitchen works quickly, so I don't think you'll be waiting long. The quality of the food is reflected in the prices, but they're fair for what you receive. Drink prices, particularly the house wine, are also reasonable. Overall, it’s a great value considering the quality of the food. I can't wait to return!

I can’t wait to return! It was absolutely amazing! Everything was excellent—delicious and fresh, with a wonderful atmosphere and quick service. I was initially worried it might be a tourist trap with just a pretty facade, but what I found was a genuine and delightful Italian experience! Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and I finally enjoyed a real cappuccino after being on the road for a few days!

A hidden gem in the middle of nowhere! This family-friendly restaurant offers a wonderful atmosphere. We ordered several appetizers to share, and the mushroom sauce was absolutely addictive (it came with the mushrooms and scallops dish, as well as the focaccia bread). The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between classy and comfortable. Our server, Andrea, provided excellent service!
