This is my favorite taco place! The carna asada and tripas tacos are the best, however, I am little disappointed this time because they didn't give me any fried jalapenos or serrano peppers which I specifically requested, which kinda ruin my meal abit! When eating these tacos, you gotta have the fried hot serrano peppers! The carna asada tacos prices are now $2.75 each and the tripas tacos are $2.50 each per the nice gentleman in the front cashier! I got the monday-friday special which is: 4 carna asada tacos with a can soda for $12.45, even thought they posted for $9.99 on front window! It seems like the price changes every time I go.
Absolutely love this place; the food and service is amazing! It's one of the best secrets for Mexican food in South Sac that nobody knows about because it's tucked into a small corner of a shopping center. Hopefully this review helps Cuco's get more recognition for their phenomenal food and staff! Everything is made to order and delicious. I've been coming here for years and the family that runs Cuco's are welcoming every time I come in. If you're in the South and are looking for a meal that fills your tummy and empty your wallet, then this is definitely the place to go!
Yeah, that was gross. Their meats have no flavor! It tasted like it was sitting in water.Can't remember the last time I had to add salt to a taco. Salsas tasted old, green one had a sour taste. I should have known it was bad when there was no one in the restaurant during lunch hour! At least Pollo loco has flavor! Got my order wrong, asked for carnitas got what they called al pastor.
I had to come all the way here just to leave a review and I’ve never been inside of this restaurant in person. I’ve always had it off DoorDash. Their food is so delicious spicy they’re generous with the portions. And it’s so affordable this is absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant in Sacramento. They never disappoint every time their food is delivered. It is always flawless.
