For a late afternoon idea that turned into one of my favorite meal experiences in California. This is a great choice for anyone looking to be impressed with what can be done with a small space. Welcoming, charming, attentive. I would suggest this place to any and everyone. I will definitely return with my family. When they treat a 4yr. old with respect and without fear, while managing to deliver food she couldn't resist. There is no denying this is a great spot in San Carlos.
Cuisinett feels like a little slice of France right in San Carlos. I've visited several times, and it has consistently been excellent. I had lunch with a friend this week, and the food was plentiful, fresh, and delicious. The owner came by multiple times to check on us and see if we needed anything, which was a lovely touch. The level of service is truly charming. I would highly recommend this café to anyone.
Reservations should be made on weekends because they are very busy. The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful. There is a good wine selection available and you can get it by the glass or bottle. Some wines were bottle only. Seating is both indoor and outdoor. In cooler weather they have outdoor heaters. My go-to spot for Moules Frites! The broth is absolutely delicious, the mussels are plump and flavorful, and the fries are to die for. They serve it with French bread perfect for soaking up the broth, and I enjoyed it with a glass of French Viognier—simply magnificent! The service is excellent, and the staff are really friendly.
