While the business is still new and finding its feet, the staff are all very friendly and the food is definitely something not to miss. The curries are fairly priced and we were offered some extra rice for free when we ran out while dining in. Would really love to see this business succeed as it is run by lovely people and would hate to see them go - so go in and give them some support! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cosy and perfect for a nice winter meal. Will definitely become a regular here!
We have been travelling around Aus for almost two years and in this time have only given three other Indian restaurants 5 stars however, this one certainly deserves to be the fourth, only recently opened but I've no doubt this place will quickly become a hit with residents and visitors to North Hobart, all of the dishes were absolutely fantastic, authentic Indian food served with a smile, do yourself a favour and visit this cracking little place.
Occupying the old Anatolia site this place is still finding its feet and hasn't cleared all remnants of its Turkish past.....BUT, go inside and give them a try. Dahl dishes (our 'go to') the tastiest on the strip. Service still working things out but they're friendly....in time I'd like to see more wine choices but the curries are perfectly good...
I visit the resturant first time with my family..its awsem food espically i would recommend to eat Aloo chat with coarinder paste with lemon...its too yummy really i feel like as eat totally taste as indian street food...All over its Fantastic Fabulous....thxs Culinary King Indian Restaurant...

Samosas onion bhaji both very nice but the sauces are fantastic. Back ground music very ralaxing Tasmanian Poniot decently priced All good came out hot and flavourful. Would say if you dont like heat stay away from anyyhing other than mild.
We went as a family of 7 and were able to order many dishes to try. Amazing food at reasonable prices. Service was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Will definitely return.
Great food shared with friends in front a a wood fire! Friendly and very helpful staff. Great way to spend a cold Hobart night.

Just had a wonderful meal. The staff were very friendly and I think it was the best Kashmiri naan I've ever had.
