I wanted to share a few words about the excellent customer service I have received from a young man named Adam at the Cullercoats shop over the last few months. I frequent this shop often because I believe it serves the best coffee around, and I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere where dogs are allowed. Adam always remembers my name and my drink order, even if I haven't been served by him that day. This attention to detail may seem small, but having worked in customer service for 40 years, I know it's the little things that keep customers coming back. Plus points 1. The location is good and has nearby free parking. 2. The prices are ok for coffee and tea. 3. The decor and seating inside is nice. 4. The breakfast wraps are ok. Negatives 1. I had a cappuccino, the milk was much too foamed and there was no smoothness to the actual coffee it was fairly harsh. I've had some excellent cappuccinos around whitley bay/Cullercoats, it felt like it had been rushed. 2. Porridge was provided in a small cappuccino cup, the cup was so small it wouldn't even fit the spoon provided... for over £3 it's not good enough. The fact the order was for blueberries and honey but it instead had a red berry compot was also fairly confusing.
I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation. However, when I arrived, I found out that the kitchen was closed with no explanation. As a result, my party ended up getting a cake instead. Unfortunately, the cake was too heavy and sweet for our tastes, so we struggled to finish it. We also ordered a coffee and a chocolate dessert, but they were nothing special. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience. Apologies for the negative review.
Worst sausages I’ve had anywhere, anytime. Couldn’t get my knife through the skin, and neither could the kids. Such a shame. Also can’t understand why they do breakfast buns but not a breakfast. No beans to be had at all, which disappointed us. Staff are lovely which makes it more of a shame I won’t return for food. Coffee was good.

Really nice coffee however there’s never any food or snacks available. there’s also no changing facilities for babies here and when I’ve been here with my baby I’ve panicked and had to go elsewhere in Cullercoats. Not what you need as a parent and all the other cafes have suitable baby changing facilities.
The coffee at this restaurant is excellent, and they offer a variety of beautiful cakes and scones that I had a hard time resisting. The design of the place is very cheerful and eye-catching, with bright yellow cups that are sure to bring a smile to your face.
I’ve come here a few times to do work and it’s such a chill relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff. Coffee is excellent, my favourite in Whitley bay. Lovely decor also, which makes for perfect scenery when working.
Busy, friendly, easy going. I love it here. Much more relaxed and welcoming to babies, prams and dogs than some of the other more pretentious establishments in the vicinity.

Been here a number of times, food is equally as delicious every visit. The staff are so welcoming and friendly creates a really lovely atmosphere. 10/10
