Ok here we go Driving through New Bergen, don't ask me why but was told to try this place. Well if your within 25 miles and want something special GO! They have hot prepared food as well as wraps and sandwiches add to that a full deli, with Italian specialties and wonderful desserts, you get the idea and you have nothin to lose Oh I forgot the Gelato, didn't try it but pretty sure the quality is right there with everything else. I had the Napoli and wife had a grilled chicken, GREAT. This is the kind of place if your not happy tell'em I'm sure they'd make it right. The workers could tell we didn't belong but helped us out, brought our food and then were chill, let us eat, I paid when leaving...
I always see this place when I go to Aumm Aumm for dinner. Today I was in the area during the day and tried it out. Got the chicken cutlet, prosciutto, fresh mozz and a lil bit of balsamic. They toasted it up and it was absolutely delicious. Bread was crunchy outside and soft and chewy in. Cutlet was extremely flavorful but not over salted. Prosciutto was soft and melted on the tongue Mozz was not separated and greasy after toasting. Tasted almost like buratta. Everyone working was great. Joking with each other, a real old school vibe. Def coming back.
I love this place. The staff and owner are amazing. I brought a friend of mine here recently and he said, this place feels like the personification of love put into food and atmosphere. It's so welcoming and feels like home. Taylor ham, egg white omelet with potatoes and fresh bread toasted with fresh olive oil. The owner also shared with us two recipes his grandmother used to make on special occasions. A fried anchovies, and fried cod fish fritters. Everything was amazing!! This is where you come for a taste of Italian greatness!
OMG!! I wish you were in my neighborhood. I had the Cheese Steak that was so so good. The bread was nice and soft. Peppers were perfect and the cheese fresh. This was a perfect sandwich. I ordered the Molfetta to go after the nice lady gave me a handful sample of Parmacotta Ham. The homemade Mozzarella was the best I've ever had. That was the best sandwich I've ever eaten. And I say that after it traveled from Jersey to Cali and was reheated in my oven 7 hours later Reserva una mesa ahora
Beware, the last time we went here, the older lady who works the counter gave herself a 25% tip on our order without saying anything and lied to us about the total. Extremely disappointed in the dishonesty shown by management here. We really enjoy their sandwiches but do not like being stolen from.
In the area for business and found this place on yelp. Extensive menu with many hot and cold sandwich options. Small place with a few tables. My sandwich was excellent, turkey and mozzarella served hot in a delicious wrap. Store also has a good amount of Italian imported foods. Highly recommend.
Cuomo &Sons is one of the best deli restaurants in the area. Sandwiches, warm, food service impeccable for a deli. They're very attentive. Yeah ambience is as I said deli type with a few tables. But Maria is the food delicious. If you haven't been there you're missing out.
