NOT Covid safe in my opinion. Went to collect a take away which wasnt ready for another 20 minutes. This wasn't really the issue. As I stood waiting for my order I could see into their open kitchen. In that 20 minutes not once did I witness any handwashing. In fact I couldn't see a hand wash basin. I watched the chef take the meat off of skewers with a filthy rag which he also wiped his hands on before making the nan bread. There were filthy cloths everywhere being used. What really put me off was the chap making up the orders licking his hand to open the plastic bags then touching the popadoms and sauce pots for the orders. Really off putting, I'm not sure how they managed a 4 EHO score!
We normally use Curry master, kingston Road Ewell and have had some very good meals. Unfortunately the last take a way we ordered was not upto standard. We recommended this take away to friends and to be honest it was disappointing. The curry we had didn't have much taste, the tarka daal our friends ordered was like soup and the vegetable nan didn't have veg in it. It seemed very rushed and no care taken with what we had ordered. We won't stop getting our takeaways from Curry master and hope this is a one off incident. Such a shame this happened.
Have been ordering from here since they opened back in 1995 but they have obviously changed the chef as the last takeaway we had was awful. The sag paneer had a gritty texture like it had crushed up nuts in it. The biryani was mainly rice very little meat and the vegetable curry was mainly potatoes. The chicken malaya was about the only reasonable dish but even that didnt taste the same as normal. We will be changing where we eat from now on as this is just not great service for such an expensive meal
I’ve been going here for 20 years and as mentioned in previous reviews since March this year the food is greasy and tasteless it was always 9/10 out of 10 very good and restaurants hard to beat.The last 6 takeaway since March have been poor and after tonight I am going to try another place tonight’s takeaway was poor and expensive they either need to change the chef and pay attention to the reviews I will keep an eye on them but until they improve they have lost our custom Reserva una mesa ahora
I decided to give this restaurant a try after receiving a recommendation. The food came out quickly, the menu had a good variety, and the prices were affordable. However, I quickly discovered why it was so cheap - the food was terrible. Unfortunately, I had to go to KFC because I couldn't eat what was served. The naan bread was completely burnt, the curry was awful, and the rice was cold. I would not recommend this place.
I have been dining at this restaurant for 20 years. About 2 years ago, they brought in a new chef who changed the dishes, but not for the better. However, the last couple of times I have visited, the food has gone back to its original deliciousness. I ordered on Saturday and was impressed by how the food tasted just like it used to. Please keep up the good work, I can't wait to order again soon.
We recently received a delivery from Curry Master and it was unbelievably tasty. Our food arrived quickly and was piping hot and incredibly delicious. We have ordered takeout from this restaurant before and they never fail to impress. Hands down, the best curry in town.
