This restaurant used to be very good,tasty food,excellent service. Yesterday we wet there to have dinner with our family, the service was poor,the table wasn't cleared of empty dishes,even when the waiter banged the empty water bottle, he was swearing instead of apologising. The quality of food was very poor.We asked for a bhindi side dish,it came bland,tasteless,not cooked no spice at all,just bhindi cut and thrown in a dish,not even cooked it was just raw bhindi. Not to mention the workers were coughing and sneezing we got home sick. Hope they wasnt coronavirus
I went to this restaurant with my family for dinner. Food was tasty but the service was very slow . Customer service wasn’t great. I found the staffs very unfriendly and have to keep asking them 4/5 times for the same thing . When I asked for tap water , they didn’t bother to bring any glasses . Upon asking for glasses with few staffs , one of them told us to drink in wine glass while there was wine in our glasses . I felt like they are not capable to do sit down dinner service . The staff needs training in customer service.
Curry Mahal is a historic restaurant in South Harrow that offers classic dishes such as bhajji, samosas, tandoori items, and curries. However, due to its long-established presence, it is in need of a revamp in terms of food quality, decor, staff, drinks, and hospitality. They also provide delivery services, but there is no parking available at the restaurant; customers must park on the road or at the nearby Aldi parking lot.
First time I tried Curry Mahal, had a takeaway last week and was absolutely awful Onions were still raw in some of the dishes, tarka dal had no tarka whatsoever just a container of plain dal, chicken was also undercooked and bland I called to make a complaint and was told that the food was fine and didn't know what I was talking about, will never order from here again

Nice evening meal with poppadoms for starters, vegetarian main for me, chicken korma and lamb bhuna and rice with side of sag also peas pilau. Food was enjoyed by all and took home what we couldn't eat. Nice chardonnay to accompany our meal. Service was good, manager came over and said hi. An enjoyable evening.
I asked them to made it spicy but this is what they do.. it’s really shame the food was not at all up to the mark and when I called them they said you placed the order for pick-up from Uber you contact them I am never ordering from this restaurant ever again
excellent meal, friendly and efficient staff. they have visited this facility a few times and have never been disappointed. consistently good. recommended if you plan a visit, you might want to book a table as it is especially busy at weeks.
This is a hidden gem. I have been going here for years and the food has always been amazing. Do try their “lamb do piaza” and they do an amazing tarka dal. The service here also has always been exceptional.
